Neater Knitting Needles

My needles have been getting jumbled. I knew I needed to do something other than the “rubber band them all together and hope for the best” method when I went to knit a swatch and found that I was using two size 10 needles and two size 9 needles. It just didn’t feel right, but I didn’t realize it until I was halfway through swatching. (Is that a word?)  So, a quick trip to the basement to my fabric stash, a bit of quick sewing, and my double pointed needles are now neat and organized.  I realized that I’m missing a set, which has probably been repurposed as lego man swords or ninja weapons.

Yes, I used black thread, because it was there already on my machine and I needed to just do this fast. Yes, I still need to go back and trim some threads here and there. No, the ribbon doesn’t match, but does it really matter?  So perhaps this isn’t pinterest worthy, but it’s done, and my needles are neat and tidy, waiting for my next project.
