My computer completely failed a couple of weeks ago, but the shop repaired it for me completely without charge. Sadly, during the repair, they deleted everything. So I’m working through the slow and painful process of restoring all my information (painful because I didn’t have it all backed up in one place, slow because much of it is stored online and I have to work with painfully slow internet speeds.)
But I’m working my way through some unfinished projects, so I hemmed the curtains over the kitchen window. They’re now, perhaps, a bit too short. But they are much better. And I added a red candle to my thrifted tin candle holder. Just a pop of color. We still have a lot of work to do in the kitchen, like new cabinets and countertops, but the red makes me happy.
