I finished the Fawn Hoodie by Carrie Bostick Hoge sweater not too long ago and I even put buttons on it, (buttons being that part of finishing a project that often escapes me). I thought it was the perfect sweater for those in between seasons – early spring and late autumn.
It was a quick and easy sweater to stitch, but, alas, my son seems to be longer than the sweater. So I stretch the length a bit before he puts it on, and we pretend that it fits perfectly. Since the sweater is knit from the bottom up, I and my limited knitting skills don’t know how to add length without completely starting over. So I’ll add this to my queue again and will knit it in a longer length for him for this fall (I hope). Until then, I’ll enjoy this sweet little elf hopping around my garden.
