Shop Sale

In honor of February, and Valentine’s Day, and Cabin Fever, and the Olympics, and the sun is shining and the sky is blue, and despite the snow being so deep that I cannot walk beyond the goat shed without snow shoes, I’m having a shop sale!  Okay, so I don’t have one reason, but does one ever need a reason for a sale?  I think not.  so from now until the end of the month, everything in my shop is 20% off.  I hope to be listing more every day, so keep checking to see what I have.  And keep in mind, that everything is one of a kind, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Here’s one of the listings on sale:

This sweet girl measures between 17″ and 18″ tall. She is handmade my me in my little home studio in Maine, inspired by Waldorf and Montessori traditions.

Her face is hand embroidered and her cheeks are made of wool felt, stitched into rosy place with embroidery thread. Her hair is wool yarn and is a sweet shade of yellow that seems to change in the light, from yellow to more strawberry blond.

The doll is stitched twice for security, and cotton fabric is used for her body and clothing. She will arrive wearing:

A soft brushed cotton dress that fastens in the back with hook and loop closure- no small buttons to come loose or frustrate little ones’ fingers.
A pair of pettipants which have elastic waist and legs.
A sweet little apron with lace edged pockets.
A hand knitted shawl, which can also be worn as a head scarf.
    All clothing is removable

She is stuffed with pure, clean, naturally hypoallergenic wool.

As is the nature of handmade, nothing is done exactly the same each time, and as such may have slight imperfections that lend to the unique character of handmade items.
